Formed in Maynooth in 2014 from a group of friends, alt pop trio Hvmmingbyrd have established a reputation for complex vocal arrangements, haunting harmonies and onstage charm. Reminiscent of a diverse range of artists including Cocteau Twins, Portishead, Wilson Phillips, Lorde and the Staves, Hvmmingbyrd launched their debut album in 2014 to widespread praise. Founding members Deborah Byrne (vocals, guitar) and Dolores Fogarty (vocals, melodica, flute, percussion) were joined by singer/songwriter Suzette Das (vocals, piano) in 2016 and they plan to release their new single March 1st 2016.
